Inclined lift for invalid is a type of specialized mechanisms in the form of a platform designed for lifting / lowering people with disabilities in an inclined plane (for example, along a flight of stairs).
The device consists of:
- platforms with two ramps;
- housing;
- 2 barriers with a handrail;
- 2x guides;
- gear motor;
- 2 limit switches;
- control stations;
- call buttons to stop.
The safety system is represented by limit switches, which limit the movement of the platform exclusively to the length of the guides, as well as handrails, ramps and anti-slip platform coating, which blocks involuntary movements.
Due to the lack of a hydroelectric station, the movement is due to the operation of the gear motor.
Unlike other types of lifts for people with disabilities, the slope capacity is limited to 150kg.
