The vertical lift for invalid is the most common variety of specialized mechanisms in the form of a console platform. Designed for lifting / lowering people with disabilities in a vertical plane with maximum comfort and safety.
The device consists of two systems: hydraulic and electrical.
The hydraulic system is represented by a guide rack, a movable platform with barriers and a wicket, ramps (for convenience, transferred to the platform) and a hydraulic lifting mechanism.
The electrical system, in turn, consists of an electric motor, a cabinet and a control panel, as well as limit switches.
The lifting capacity of the vertical lift in the basic variation is 250kg.
Vertical lift for invalid Security System
Safety of use by the lift is ensured by limit switches, which limit the movement of the platform at the upper and lower points and the corrugated non-slip surface of the platform. It should be noted the possibility of installing a special module that stops the movement of the platform if foreign objects fall under the platform.
It is also possible to install a system of mechanical descent of the platform on such a lift when the power supply is disconnected.
Vertical lift for the disabled: installation features
Often this model is used in places where it is possible to install and fasten the guide rack to the wall or to the ceiling.
If it is possible to form a pit 100 mm deep, it is possible to ensure the level of the platform flush with the floor. If it is impossible, the ramp (stationary or fixed on the platform) is most often used.
